St Vincent - I was expecting good things from Bill Murray and this was it. It was an excellent movie. It subverted the few times I thought it was going to get predictably cheesy. I still think about the movie from time to time.
The Babadook - Probably one of the best horror films of 2014. Excellent movie, great pacing, creepy atmosphere.
FAQ About Time Travel - I love this movie. I thought the conversations were well done and the acting (the way the respond to the situation was convincing)
Tropic Thunder - Excellent. Both Robert Downey Jr and Tom Cruise were great in this.

The Man From Earth - Very well done. Takes place all in one room/location. Interesting.

Shaun of the Dead - This is the zombie apocalypse comedy horror I wish I'd made.
Dead Man's Shoes - I thought this was superb. Excellently acted, the scene following the drugs in the kettle was awesomely done. Will need to look for more by the writer and especially the director.
