+ | * [[wp>Once Upon a Time in Hollywood]] (2019) - Watched this with Naomi. I enjoyed it. Not my favourite Tarantino movie, but it was stylish, interesting and I liked the dynamic between DiCaprio and Pitt. It took me far too long to realise what it was actually about and I really liked how they handled the ending. It'll probably have much more of an impact on someone who wasn't aware of the event once they look up the history. I wonder if this'll become a cult classic soon. Looking forward to whatever Tarantino makes next.
+ | * [[wp>Ad Astra]] (2019) - I didn't like this movie at all. The science was shoddy, the plot was boring (it could have been set anywhere - if it's going to be in space, at least involve some science/space plot points). There was nothing new in it. Brad Pitt's acting was decent, but the story was just some wishy-washy emotional effort. Lotta plot holes. What was the point of the detour to rescue the first ship? Why did he have to travel to Mars (and not just send a recording)? The orbital mechanics and basic space scenes were appallingly bad.

* [[wp>Ready or Not]] (2019) - This was okay. I was expecting it to be a bit more humorous, but it was decent for what it was. Samara was gorgeous. | * [[wp>Ready or Not]] (2019) - This was okay. I was expecting it to be a bit more humorous, but it was decent for what it was. Samara was gorgeous. |
